Is "bing" an attempt to reestablish mainstream media control over the daily news cycle.

I have been noticing some strange happenings with "bing" the new search engine from Microsoft which seems to be selectively directing users toward what can only be called traditional left leaning websites . For those that don't know "Bing" is the current web search engine from Microsoft. Bing was unveiled by Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer on May 28, 2009 .

"Bing" is billed as eliminating the search over load, but what I have noticed the last several weeks is despite the fact that I continually search for say the "drudge report" , if I put drudge in the search bar only the "drudge retort" a third rate wannabe website pops up . I have also noticed this with the "Ridgewood blog" ,where bing only gives me links to the silly imitator and far inferior "Ridgewood Views" . Interesting that "bing" seems to be able to discern and lead away from any "conservative" websites and force users toward main stream ie... liberal media .

With the terrible ratings of say MSNBC and many of the over failing mainstream media outlets and the fact that liberals seem to abhor and avoid debate at all costs it seems more than a little obvious that "bing" is being used to mislead and subvert searches, therefore subverting information dissemination. Is "bing" an attempt to reestablish mainstream media control over the daily news cycle. This seems to cast doubt on the viability of "bing" and reemphasises the very reason the main stream media continues to lose viewers and begs the question is 'bing ' being used to control access to Internet content therefore controlling the flow on information?
